Meg Rudansky is a lawyer who practices in the areas of elder law, long-term care planning, trusts and estates, gift and estate tax planning, estate and trust administration and real estate.

Meg provides a personal approach to her planning and counseling, taking the time to get to know her clients and to educate them regarding significant objectives that can be achieved through proper planning. Client education is a priority for Meg, who takes pride in being able to explain difficult concepts in easy-to-understand terms, in order to empower the client to be a co-decision maker in the planning process. She is motivated to ensure that her clients’ accumulated wealth is distributed to their valued beneficiaries with the least erosion from long-term care expenses, estate taxes, creditor claims and court costs.

Meg graduated magna cum laude from Hunter College, City University of New York in 1981 and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1984. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in early 1985, opened her own firm in Sag Harbor, New York and has been in private practice ever since.
